We are excited to provide extraordinary more than just childcare to the families of La Mesa, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove and surrounding San Diego East County communities! In 2024 we expanded our services from the downtown San Diego area to this  location.

Unique to this Center, in addition to our nursery and preschool, we include care for children up to the age of 12 with after school programs and seasonal camps. 

The Children of the Rainbow – University Avenue location is located within the family friendly Kroc Center Campus. We teach children to expand their thinking and express their feelings through play, dance, art and music. Our professional globally diverse staff foster education through encouragement that exercises our students’ imaginations to grow in positive ways. The sights, smells and overall environment are purposefully set as a positive backdrop for your child’s stimulation at Children of the Rainbow.
